A Helping Hand
Recently, I've submitted a Help Desk claim to Quark for issues I've been having on the Android version of Valor. I have only submitted two other 'claims' to the "help" desk and this time my experience was no different than the others, to say, no help at all. However, it was so infuriatingly ridiculous that I felt the need to share with you, my faithful fans.Background: On Android version of Valor, as a Crown (or any other ranked members of the guild) you have no ability to Edit or Delete any posts within the forum. Including your own posts. Any of you who do Lead can imagine how frustrating this can be. The BB Codes don't work all the time, they are at best a 50/50 chance of pointing to the correct location. This is also a significant inconvenience as a crown trying to plan out war. You are unable to hit the "Return" key to bring the cursor to the next line so when posting war targets you have to post each target in a new post otherwise they run together and are basically useless. The Global Rank list for guilds are also useless as you can not view the guild when you 'click' them. So basically, you can't view guild deeds unless you have a player on the map (don't get me started on the map) to view the other guilds' member lists. As a war strategist, or a Diplomacy crown these "discrepancies" in the game make the usual tediousness of keeping your guild in the top even more so.
Help Desk: So because I've played the iOS version for so long, I noticed the parts of the Android version that were not working, so.... I sent a help desk claim into Quark. I took extensive screen shots (of course) and explained the situation that I was having with the painstaking detail you all know and love about me. I've taken screen shots for you who are interested in the witty banter with this unsuspecting Help Desk employee.
